The Spirit of an Old Owner...

People who know that I live in an 1861 house that's haunted by several spirits are always asking me, "What's happened lately?" Well, we had something pretty cool happen a while back. A good friend of ours was visiting to help with some restoration, and she'd brought her young daughter along. We put the girl on the couch for the evening - one of the best places to sleep in the house - and the next morning my wife asked her how she'd slept. She said, "Okay, except for the man walking around." When my wife asked about the man, the girl proceeded to perfectly - and I do mean PERFECTLY - describe the owner of the house from about 100 years ago. We have an old photo of him, although the girl had never seen it nor ever heard the history of the place. Now I'm jealous - I've never seen him walking around! Maybe in his case it requires the innocence and naivete of a child...
