ABC News is doing a special on Bob Woodruff, their reporter (and once-potential anchor) who was on assignment in Iraq and was nearly killed by a roadside attack. He suffered extensive brain injury, and there was even doubt as to whether he would survive.

An upcoming news special that will document the tragedy gives his recollections on the event, including his comments that, "I do remember at that moment I saw my body floating below me and … a whiteness … I just saw something."
