A Skeptic's View of Haunted Houses...

Being a ghost-blog, I struggled with whether to post this or not. After all, it's a complete denial of the subject, and a rationalization against it. Still, as paranormal researchers (or enthusiasts, or whatever we call ourselves) it's important to hear what our detractors say. And here it is!

The Skeptic's Dictionary: Haunted Houses

i was a skeptic about ghost and haunted houses myself... but when i was 13 me and my little sister went to are dads for the weekend were we were raised in.... and let me just add...my mom would always say there was something strange in that house but i never believed her...anyway..it was cold that night so me and my sister slept in the same bed..i remember a ringing sound that got lounder and lounder in my dream till the noise woke me up...so there i was sitting straight up in bed...heart pounding in the dark..my sister sound asleep..but then i notice at the foot of the bed a very slim man with a cowboy hat on...and since i know it couldnt be my dad cause he's alot taller and really fat i freaked out !! i just sat there and was so scared i couldnt even scream...so i slowly lowered my head back down to the pillow and prayed to god for this to go away...i remember running my finger nails down my sisters arm to try to wake her...but she never woke...then i started to smell something like old raw meat...i never smelled anything like it... i flew out of bed to the bathroom to throw up thats how strong it was.... my mom always said everytime she saw something in that house she would pray...and it always went away...so i went back to bed and did the same...and no...nothing else happened that night...but i never went back to sleep there also...can you blame me.... so yes...there are such thing as ghost...
