The end of the day...
Ahhh... I'm finally sitting down to relax after one heck of a day. This was the Texas Paranormal Conference in Jefferson, Texas, and I'd have to put this one in the success column.
I think that over 130 people had pre-registered, and there were a number of walk-ups. There were enough people there to make many veteran conferences proud - and this was a first-time effort. Congrats to the conference organizers.
I enjoyed getting to hear the slate of speakers - it was a varied group, with different ideas and topics. Very well balanced. A good time was had by all... I can hardly wait for next year. Start making your plans to attend!

It was a great weekend! And the town was so amazing....I'm looking forward to this becoming a yearly event.
Thanks to Mitchel and Tami for the tour of The Grove! I highly recommend a visit to Jefferson.
You're more than welcome - we enjoyed getting to visit with everyone. I hope that this becomes a yearly event as well!
Mitchel, Butch and I really appreciate yours and Tami's hospitality last Saturday night. Your home shows your dedication to preserve its history in a modern world. It is obvious to us that the former owners were a big part in 'choosing' you and Tami to keep the house alive and thriving. We both noticed the little boy and hoped he wasn't being scared out of his wits. I kept making eye contact with him to hopefully reassure him that everything in the house was kind and positive. It was quite obvious, as he was clinging to his mother's arm, that he was clearly frightened by something. It all became clear today when Butch sent me the news that the little boy had seen your garden visitor. All I could say was: 'Lucky kid!' Thanks again for introducing us to The Grove; Butch has felt a connection to it for several years, and I can now share in that feeling with him.
Have a great week in wonderful Jefferson.
Darlene
