Meanwhile, In New Orleans...

I've written about the ghosts of the Crescent City on several occasions, but with the recent disasters of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, I've tried to be more sensitive about mentioning the cases I've found there. My heart goes out to those people displaced by the hurricanes.
I saw a news story on the web, though, about the military that is staying at the Sophie B. Wright Middle School in New Orleans. They're seeing the specters of children and hearing them playing in the halls.
Pretty amazing - probably the last thing that the troops expected to encounter down there. I watched one film report online, but another site has a print story:

It will be interesting to watch those stories develop.

I'm one of those soldiers in the video, and let me tell ya...never in my life did i imagine i would see or hear what i did. I did not believe in ghosts but that was too scary. After that day, i did not ever return to that supply closet.
